J Williams Portraits is dedicated to the craft of exquisite portraiture and that begins with intention. 

 

The design Session

design session is a must for a successful portriat to be created.  This is where we learn about you, discuss color pallets for clothing and backdrops, decide where to portrits will reside in your home, what shapes and sizes fit best in what locations.  similar to a movie director setting up a scene for a movie, we create the scene with wardrobe, lighting, props, mood and most inportantly, you.

The portrait Session

 

Once you have scheduled the date for your portrait session, we prepare everything for your arrival on the day.  we keep the session time fun and light so you enjoy yourself and we capture beautiful moments of everyone involved.

The selection Session

​

a week after the portrait session, we are ready to have you return to view and select your portraits.  This is the fun part where you are able to see all the amazing images we captured and choose which ones (or all of them) you love.

The artistry process

the work now begins on your portriats with the final look in mind.  our artists go over every detail of the portrait and add or minimize highlights or shadows, enhancing details within details all to  to create the perfect portrait.  

 

The installation process

all of our wall art pieces are carefully installed by us (for local clients) this  gives you the peace of mind that your portraits will be beautifull displayed in your home and you can sit back and admire your artwork!
